Thread: Second shave! Way improved!!

So yesterday was shave 2...and with your help and the videos it was a vast improvement!! I had only one nick on my chin! I'm still concerned my razor may not be as sharp as it should be. Also...I find stropping very relaxing...can you strop too much?

haha.. and the third shave might even be better... or worse.. my third shave was worse than my first and second.. I got a bit over confident and the result was like I was attacked by my two cats..(thought they only attack mice and are very good at that).

Can you over strop? not if you are stropping correctly...

Is your razor sharp enough? if it doesnt pull or tug and you nick yourself without too much pressure or wrong angle... it's probably sharp enough.

yeah it'll probably be even better on the subsequent ones.
i don't think you can strop too much as long as you do it correctly. one incorrect stroke could mess up the edge, but more good ones could often fix it back.
