    Default Newb razor collection!

Got a slight smile to it, right?

Some pitting on the spine, but nothing worth taking off all that metal.

Suuuper Wedgey. However, there appears to be a slight hollow grind on the blade, which is gonna make honing alot easier. The edge has no nicks or pitting, so it seems to be a great restore project.

My daily shaver. Dovo Best Quality. Honed by Utopian and has a GREAT edge on it. Gives a newb like me a super BBS shave ATG. I can't complain at all.

Dovo, Henry Nicholson & Sons and WF Greaves & Sons

The Nicholson and Greaves were bought on the bay and seem to be pretty good aquisitions. The Nicholson was pretty sharp, but nowhere near shave ready. I honed it and finished it on a chinese natural, but lost the edge after stropping....so I'm assuming I'm gonna need to set the bevel. The scales on the Greaves were in deplorable condition and not even worth restoring. Right now I'm looking to get a custom set, probably from someone here.

Not bad for someone who's been shaving a little over a month?

Yeah, I was pretty lucky to pick that up for only $30 on the bay. It was covered in surface rust, but cleaned up after only half an hour with 220 grit.

Nice! You are well on your way to a 7 day rotation. When you get that Greaves re-scaled, you will find out just how different shaving can be with a wedge. The razors and workshop sections of the forum will give you lots of ideas for scale options for your new toy.

For my beard, it's more of a 2 week rotation. I only shave every 2 days or so. Some consider that a blessing, but I'd much rather have a sweet beard than a baby face.
