Thanked: 0Wade & Butcher Dating
Hi Folks, thinking of purchasing a W&B "chopper" with the barbers notch. Can someone share the date range for one of these razors. It's the one "intended for barber use". How old are these razors? Thanks

Usual way of dating is, if the tang is stamped 'Sheffield England' it's post 1890
'Sheffield' minus the 'England' is pre 1890The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Wow, I really need some sleep. I was honestly thinking "OK, these guys are really hoping for too much if they think they're gonna start a dating website for straight shavers".
Off to bed with me!

Another dating question
What if it isn't stamped "Sheffield" or "England"? Mine simply has the bow on the tang.
