    Default 2nd try J A Henckels

I tried posting this before, but I'm new to this kind of thing (forums and using a straight razor) the thread evidently got lost, so I'll try again here. I bought a J A Henckels razor yesterday. I don't know how to grade the condition of razors, but this one has only one rust spot along the spine toward the end of the razor. Other than that it is in good shape. On the tang are the words J A Henckles and under that the names Graef and Schmidt stamped "athwart ships" above the names, is the Henckle logo and the number 55. Are there any books or references available that can give history/value of a razor? I paid $20.00 for this one.

J A Henckels are top notch shavers. I have 3 in my rotation. I have yet to find a Henckels that didn't shave well.
Post some pics so we can have a better look at the overall condition and enjoy some razor porn.
