Thread: Singing Hone?

I've realized this happens when I do spine leading strokes on the hone, as in using the hone as strop, before I strop. Any reason why I shouldn't be doing that?

Hello, I just bought this razor from bassguy. He didn't tell me it was a screamer!
Actually, I'm pretty green with a straight, having trouble with pulling instead of cutting hairs. This razor, however, is phenomenal. I didn't know it could be so sublime! What an edge. And bassguy was superb to deal with, and sold the razor for a great price, I thought.
