Impressions of an aging newbie
Hi all. Started shaving in Feb; gave myself my biggest cut on that first attempt. Your kind, sometimes witty, always inciteful, encouragement prevailed. SR shaving nearly daily, honing, and having fun.
Anyway, for the newbies who are struggling...take heart. Keep going because it will fall into place.
My observation at this stage of the game has to do with the differences each blade has to offer. I remember buying my first set of golf clubs...no way I could compare or appreciate the feel or differences. Same with the blades.
Now, I am enjoying using a rotation and feeling the differences each as to offer. The way they sing, the comfort they offer, how they hone and strop. Seems like this is part of the progression that you might soon, or have already come to.
Enjoy all.

Thanked: 172I agree and have also noticed how most of the razors have their own personallities [or should i not humanize them and say their own traits ]
Consider where you will spend ETERNITY !!!!!!
Growing Old is a necessity; Growing Up is Not !

Aww shucks. You guys are just too kind!!
By the way, very thankful that I've done better with the blades than the golf irons!!
