Purchased from seller on eBay for $23 delivered. Was this a 'steel' of a deal, or did I buy a metal turd? SSA Eskilstuna-Sweden on tang (Svenska Stalsmides Aktich, translates to Swedish Steel Forging Company, ca. 1918-1920). One thing that caught my eye was the utilization of only one pin in the razors making. Extremely clean blade, but definitely in need of a stropping or honing and...

Nice razor! Should be a good shaver, but will probably need expert honing. I have found with my three Heljestand Eskilstuna's that their steel is very hard; takes longer to hone but seems to keep it's edge longer. Other experiences with honing Swedish razors?
