    Default Left Hand Size

Did my second straight shave today, but i'm looking for some advice, i took it all much slower this time, thinking of exactly what i was doing, the right side went fine, but when i got to the left, i had problems holding the razor right this time to allow me to feel what i was doing properly, (shaving one handed - my left i'm not coordinated enough to use....) and had the razor 'jump' a couple of times when i was trying to make a pass. Didn't cut myself but was just looking any any advice? or what i was doing wrong?

It's awkward at first. Just keep trying and it will come, sooner than you think.

    Default left hand

actually when i start shaving i was cutting my right side more then lift side. i am right handed. i should have thread old one in here about it.
i find out because of i am right handed i was very careful on my left side and never had cuts.
Your case is different take your time and try left hand slowly you should get there. doesn't matter when you start first time to use straight it is anyway not easy. Just be patient you will get there.good luck

As already stated it will come in time, also much of the sideburn to jaw strokes come by feel for me since i have a hard time seeing around my hand. If i use two mirrors i can see but tend to do things backwards.

I am still shaving with my dominant (right) hand. I haven't gotten the hang of left hand shaving yet. I once read a post where it was suggested to brush your teeth with the non dominant hand as another exercise to develop better coordination. You might give that a try and see if it helps.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
