    Default Just a small intro

    Hi there!
Been wetshaving with DE razors for about half a year by now. I enjoy this a whole lot and are now about to take the next step into straightrazors.
It all started out with that I found my great grandfathers razor and I started to shine it up and decided to get it back to shave readiness. It's a 5/8 wedge marked G.W Webster, Sheffield that will need some new scales and a hone but I think it will be fine.
I also bought two straights from internet, one solingen hollow blade and one more sheffield wedge.
So still have a strop to get and send them of to a honemeister and i'll be rocking!

Welcome to SRP ! Having shaved with a DE for that long you will already know preparation, lathering and skin stretching so the transition will be easier. Here is the SRP Wiki with plenty of information for you until you get your razors back shave ready.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Thanks!
Yeah I surely start to get the hang of it. Have had some really bad AD with shavingcreams so got a quite good collection by now
