You guys must have better eyes than I have. There's no way I could shave without my glasses. I wouldn't be able to find my razor!

Thanked: 154I feel more comfortable wearing glasses while shaving too, Paul! I tried without but was encouraged when I saw plexus wearing glasses in his YouTube shaving video.

Thanked: 172I'm nearsighted so I can see better in the mirror without my glasses. Do whatever feels better and lets you see better.

Thanked: 317I shave with my glasses on almost every time. I just can't do it without. The place I have to be careful, is that I get some light beard hair all the way up to the ridge of my cheek bones under my eyes. anything lower than that, and I have no trouble.
Of course, I may try one of those mirrors anyway. I decided a long time ago that I didn't care about any landlord's rules about mounting stuff, as I'm perfectly capable of mounting things properly and repairing the anchor holes when I move.

Hi,
Recovering from a major car accident about 10 yrs ago I fixed an extending shaving mirror to the wall to make things easier. Recovered from the injuries I still find the mirror really useful.
Out of interest has anybody visited T.E. Lawrence's (Lawrence of Arabia) cottage in Dorset (UK)? His extending shaving mirror is positioned so he could sit in the bath and shave.'Living the dream, one nightmare at a time'
