Thread: New to Straight Razors

Welcome to the world of straight razors and to the forum!

I think you will find a lot of usefull information here to help start you out. Feel free to ask questions and I'm sure you'll find everyone more than helpful here. The wiki is an excellent information resource, especially for someone just starting out.

Since you'd want the best possibly honed razor to start off with, I might suggest sending one of your razors to one of the members here to get it honed. Just check out the classifieds under Member Services: Member Services - Straight Razor Place Classifieds, if you're interested. If some of them need a little extra love, i.e. a bit of restoration, those services are offered by some members as well.

Hi all, I wanted to say thanks for all your messages of welcome and encouragement. My fiance enjoyed reading the responses over my shoulder, and agreed that I should marry her up right away. I finally posted pictures to my album here to be able to show everyone.
