How do you's guys do your photos?
Hello Everyone,
I found this in an antique store this weekend, for $12.00. I can't believe what great shape this razor is in:
Trouble is...
I took a bunch of pictures, but they all turned out rather lousy. I have a Cannon PowerShot G6, it's not a piece 'o crud camera. It was getting late, so I didn't mess around with manual focus. Is there any special equipment people are using for photos? Different lenses/techniques/etc.?
Thanks.

These folks have told me one of the problems that you are facing happens anytime you have gold plated or solid gold anything. Light has a tendency to reflect off gold surfaces so there are some tricks that you need to master in order to get a great photo here.
