Thanked: 2First time with a Durham Duplex
First off, I'd have to say that this forum has been the best place for any and all answers I've had. I can get a good lather thanks to info here, found out my razor uses carpet razors here, and found out that being severely "one-handed" is a bit of an issue, but managable.
Okay, so it's not a "REAL" straight, but it feels infinitely better than any disposable! I've gone two shaves, and the only nicks have come on the old bumps left behind by the plastic abominations. I'm not going against the grain yet... still figuring out the angles. The neck is a curvy bugger.
Anyone else have any experience with these razors?

Thanked: 0I just tried one myself today. So far it wasn't bad but not the smoothest. I think I need a strop attachment so that I can get the blad really sharp.
