    Default My first razor!

    Hi I just bought my first razor from a member here at SRP.

    This one:
    Simmons Hdwe. KeenKutter 5/8 *Price Lowered Last Time* - Straight Razor Place Classifieds

    I was wondering what people thought of it and if will be a good razor.

    Not a Bad razor. Nice bargain too I may add. Based on the reputation of that blade your first shave should take well.

    Congrats on your first razor! Looks like a very good buy. That's the great thing about shopping the classifieds. Very nice razors at wonderful prices. I've purchased a few from there and have never been disappointed...

    +1 on the classifieds. You know you're getting something good because people on this forum are here primarily to help you, not take advantage of you. I think I have about 6 razors from the classifieds (some still on the way) and I love the ones in my rotation so far. I'm sure you'll find your case will be no different.

    You have a good razor there but there are many good razors. You have just begun your quest with razors.

    Your first razor that shaves well will be the one you remember. It could be that one or the next?????
