Pleasant Surprise
My recent Ebay win got me 2 straights. The pic on the bay wasn't good, and nobody bid against me, so I figured I was getting a couple of junkers to practice hone skills on. They arrived yesterday and after some clean up and strop work, this one is ready to go! The razor has 64 Victoria Cutlery Co Germany on the front side of the tang, and two little men with a crosscut saw and a log stamped into the back side of the tang. The scales have a woodgrain coloration to them that doesn't show with my crummy camera. There is file work on both the top and bottom of the tang. The only real problem I can find is a bent/worn pin. Any help with a production year range would be great! The 2nd razor needs honed and stropped before use, but cleaned up just as nicely. The boxes are with the razors, and time has rendered them unreadable.

This is a very nice razor. You will be very happy with it. Victoria shaves real smooth too.

Always good to know you didn't get hung with a total junker. Thanks Joe! I'm sure Victoria will shave fine now after her lil visit with you. What did you think of those 2 little logger dudes on back of the tang? Someone mentioned that the Victoria Cutlery company was located in England, not Germany.
