Thanked: 20John Crowley?
While reading different threads at SRP someone mentioned John Crowley at Shavingshop.com. Being new at purchasing SR and limited to the number of suppliers and sellers of SR in the internet, even at antique shops, I tried this web site. To my happy surprise, John had many 7/8 and 8/8 from several well established brands, assorted points at very reasonable prices. So far I have only purchased 30 SR from John, including two Robert Williams, which are very hard to get, since Robert told me he has made no more than 120 razors so far. I am glad I found John's web site, it gave me the avenue to purchase NOS of great razors. John told me personally if I did not like any razor's shave, he would rehone, exchange or refund my money back, my call. I can not ask for more than that. Access to purchase great razors, just by reading threads at SRP. A great place to spend your time reading. Thanks John for my razors. Juan.

John is selling a new line of brushes, Vestavia premium badger hair. It is made from the finest European badger hair available. I have paid a heck of lot more for brushes and they are not nearly as nice as this one.

I'll throw in a reference for great customer service as well. I bought 1 razor from him, but forgot to tell him I wanted it honed until after he dropped it off for shipping. He offered to hone it for free if I shipped it back. Very nice.

I've always had good service from John. I bought razors from him before he established his current vendor website (Shaving Shop), and had a very simple website with only a few pages. I also managed to buy a razor (Clauss 6/8 full hollow) from him from a now defunct shaving forum. His "honed to prefection" edges were always just that for me, and I was happy to see him offering that service again on new purchases.
