Thanked: 20stropping during shaving?
I strop before and after shaving, but not during shaving. It should make sense to strop during shaving. Some time I use two razors while shaving, just in case one razor needs stropping while shaving. I do not like stropping while shaving, hence the second razor. I want to know you guys method or habits of when to strop. Before, during, after? Thanks, Juan.

I always strop right before a shave and I do a few strokes after. Sometimes I strop during the shave and sometimes I don't. If the edge leaves something to be desired, but not enough to switch to a different razor, by all means - strop away. Why wouldn't you?

Gotcha. If the razor has a good edge I probably don't need to strop mid shave. Sometimes I do it anyway because...well, I enjoy stropping?

Thanked: 13245Flipping through the rule book to see if mid-shave stropping is allowed....
THERE IS NO RULE BOOK
I sometimes do a few laps before an ATG pass, sometimes I don't.... It really has nothing to do with the razor it has to do with my mood

Its like the president signing a bill with a stack of pens he uses to sign the legislation. Just that some of you have a stack of razors you switch during the shave. Funny stuff.
Personally, I strop before shaving and only use one razor during the shave. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
