Thanked: 20sign of improvement
As a newbie I kept my Clubman styptic pencil handy while shaving and used it very often. I used these pencils like candy. As I both shave more and read more at the SRP forum of senior members advise and experience in shaving, the use of the styptic pencil has drop drastically. So far I have not needed to open another pencil package for use. The shaves are getting closer and smoother, less bleeding, no styptic pencil in use and the toilet paper is use to dry and clean the blade and not patch the facial cuts and nicks. Sign of improvement. Juan.

Less bleeding definitely sounds like a good sign of improvement!
