    Default Newbie Brush Suggestion/Tweezerman History

I was poking around on the Henckels site and found that Henckels completely owns tweezerman. I've never used one, but I guess that means those insanely cheap badger brushes are out there for a reason. I can't speak to their quality, but if I had known about them when I started I'm sure they'd have been a big step up from the VDH POS I have. Plus its made in Germany- "Germans make good stuff right?" (quote from ShamWOW)
Just throwing it out there that it might not be crap just cus its cheap. Henckels does make some good stuff.

    Hey Khaos,

Through some credit card 'thank you rewards program', I was able to get some shaving gear. One of the items was a tweezerman badger hair brush. Once I put it to use, I'll post back here and let you know how it is.

I can speak of the Tweezerman Badger brush performance since I've owned and used one virtually daily for over a year. At approx $15 I've said in previous posts that I think it's a killer deal for a great brush. I highly recommend this brush to anyone. I expect this brush will last me years and years.

I really like badger brushes, but recently I tried an Omega Professional Boar brush that really impressed me.. They are really cheap too.. around 12 bucks

There is nothing wrong with the Tweezerman brush. That said, there isn't anything to write home about, either. It is a small knot, bare-bones brush with ok bristles, no more. It is reasonably priced, does a reasonable job, but is not the bargain of the century, even at $15.
