This is what rotations are all about. I am currently aiming for a 365 day rotation. I figure that may just be enough. Leap years will throw that out though. **** it, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Thanked: 293Hah! I just thought my shaves were getting better with each razor because I was developing my new technique. How stupid of me!
Now, what's next? More razors of course.

Actually you have to beware too many razors because when you only have a few you are very familiar with all their characteristics and the way they shave. When you have too many each time you go through your rotation its like learning to use them all over again each time you use them. Thats why I keep my total to about 100, har-har.

You do have a point about getting to know your razors. I used to have 8 razors until I sold 5 of them. I find 3 is a great number of razors to have, as I have a couple of backup ones if anything were to happen. But it's few enough that I am quite familiar with how they each perform.
But I have noticed that the better you get a shaving the more likely your most recent razor will be your favourite shaver.

Thanked: 234If I were to rate my razors on their shave, then other factors like how much they meant to me would heavily influence my rank.
My Wilkinson would probably be at the top, because it means the most to me, the others technically shave just as well but that's not always the point.
