    Default Finally Im Here!!!!!

Hi from Oz...I have been watching this site for ages now and finally have decided to join... First of all congratulations to all of you with the amazing restorations that you continue to amaze me with. Also I have seen some incredible finds. I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself and my straight razors. After nearly 25 years in the barbering game i have come across many different types of razors, many have been given to me by my elderly customers, many have been junk shop finds. Some I have actually traded.

Not only do I collect razors, I have a love for all things barber related; barbers chairs, scissors, strops, sharpening stones, french Bats, razor blades, you name it I might have it, or I want it.

I own 2 barbers shops in Qld. With a great history of nearly 100 years for one of my stores.

I shave occasionally with a few of my straights but to name my favorite would be a hard task indeed. I have many bangals, rodgers, taylors, pumas, dovos, the list goes on I have lost count.

Some are in almost unused condition. Some are in need of major work. All I love.

I hope shortly to post many photo's of my razors and other barber related tools ect, if any one would be interested.

I know this post is long winded, but it is hard to share my passion with people that have no idea what I am talking about. Thanks once again.

    The Bald Barber from Oz.

The longer-winded you are talking about razors here, the more likely we are to call you friend.
