Thanked: 3Hi Casulo. I too can highly reccommend Steve Dempsey at Invisible Edge. I am new to straights (about 3 weeks now). Been struggling with a shop bought straight till I found this site. Great advice so I sent the razor to Steve to hone and strop. What a difference! Service is brilliant! Nearly using it every day now but still can't get round my chin without nicking but taking it slow. By the way my strop is nicked down one side where I was stropping wrong so good advice again from they that know.

Thanked: 37I have purchased from Steve and concur with everybody else posting. For a first razor I personally would not recommend a 3/8 blade, though. I say stick with a 5/8 or 6/8.
Steve also can hone a blade very nicely. The Wapi I got from him was shave ready out of the box. The Wapi is a good first razor however, the balance could be better.
