welcome aboard
they're good razors for sure, and getting it from srp it'll come well honed.
a bit roundabout way to make it from germany to spain but that's modern day marketplace
since you're in spain you should look out for some of your country's razors too - they're pretty good , yes pretty pretty good....

Thanked: 1You're right! It's really weird to buy a German razor from USA being Spanish, but it's much easier and cheaper to buy in the States, because the dollar/euro conversion.
I know Spanish razors! Filarmonicas are well known here and worlwide, but can you believe they're hard to find in Spanish shops! And really expensive too, they are cheaper in USA. We are living strange days, indeed....

There are good people around here, I am a newbie too myself, but with some practice and the good advice you'll get here, you'll be fine.

Thanked: 15Welcome to SRP. This is an excellent resource both for someone new to straight razor use as well as to those who are the "masters." Keep in mind that the skill takes time to develop. Go slow and enjoy the process. If you need help, ask. There are wonderful people who are a part of this community who have lots of experience and enjoy helping others.

Welcome to SRP. Good on X-MAN for guiding you here.
As to the Dovo not being good, I don't think that is accurate. I have a Dovo and it's a great razor. In fact, we have quite a following in the Dovo line. I know what the anticipation is like awaiting your first razor. May I suggest you read this prior to doing anything?

It will help put things into perspective. Lynn has forgotten more about straight razor shaving than most of us have learned as a group..

Welcome, Anibal!
Don't neglect purchasing a decent brush, soap, or cream too. Luckily, we have some of the best brushes, soaps and creams right here in Europe, so you'll be spoiled for choice.
