She thinks it's a great idea
My mrs thinks its a great idea to shave with a straight, since the straight adds the ability to keep the blade sharp and not have to buy anything additional ever. Since I have two I do not plan to buy anything additional ever. In stead I am feeding my AD in the shave cream arena, should see my collection of shave cream it will blow your mind.

Would love to see pics of your shaving cream collection. I started off on the same foot then you, my mrs fully supprting my new-found interest in straights and I also wanted to have two only.
