Hi Everyone, Mike here frm Wairaapa, New Zealand. Totally new to the straight shave,,,got sick of the Mach 3 etc crap,,,face felt like had been attacked by a lawnmower,,ought a new Dovo 5/8 razor and a Dovo Leather/canvas strop. Watched some posts on youtube re shaving and decided to giveit a go,,,,I now realize thatmy razor wasn't shave ready.....tried stropping it bt not much better...obviously it needs to be honed....anyone from New Zealand who knows where i can get that done...as istill got a half decent shave...but notice the razor does not feel smooth... realize i'm hooked onto the straight,
