Thread: I think I have got the hang of straight razor shaving

Oh, I cut myself all of the time I just don't worry about that everyone does it. Comes with the territory. I have done 1/2" cuts before and probably will again I just don't worry about it I am simply looking for the ultimate shave as most of us at this fourm probably are.

Going to have to give my face a little rest in the next few days. I don't really mind cutting myself but I seem to be re-opening the old cuts over and over again because of the razor gliding over the surface. I guess I will substitute my super speed for a few days before going back to the beloved inox.

Good idea rather than pushing it. It has been a while since I had a cut, but I gave them a minimum of 48 hours to heal before the next shave and I just shaved perpendicular to the cut and left the pass at that and didn't want to push my luck.
