    Personally I recommend Dovo, they are great for us begnniers and they don't cost an arm and a legg. I have two and they are supurb.

    Thank you all for the replies, very useful information.
    I did get my first straight razor shave the other day and they were using disposable razors. Unfortunately I didn't get a reference to this barber shop, and my shave turned out to be horrible. I had to quickly drive back home and reshave, before going to work, after giving them $30. I didn't even give them a tip and I always give tips no matter how bad the serves I've been given.
    I won't let this deter me though I'm going to Philly in a few weeks and I will give Joe a call, thank you SlickWillyTFCF.
    Looks like I'll be getting a Dovo in the near future. Well my Fiancée will be getting me one for my birthday. Thank you for the suggestions.
