Hello everyone,

Obviously I'm a new member but I just wanted to say hello. I've been Straight Razor shaving now for about a month and I'm happy to say it's been the best choice for shaving I've made. My wife got me into the idea and since then I haven't looked back. I've also since gotten into collecting and restoration as a hobby. I'm always up for advice, willing to share what I've learned and have been questing to get my friends to check out straight razor shaving as well.

When I first started this was one of my original sources and though I hadn't officially joined the forums till now I had been perusing the extremely valuable information on this site, and youtube, especially the video's from 'jockeys41' (Thank you!!!) and Lynn with his honing and stropping videos (Thank you!!!). I look forward to meeting everyone through the forums and learning from the greats here, and as I finish my first restoration I'll be sure to post some pre and post pics for further advice and evaluation.
