Heya Dan,
Sorry bout the late reply been a busy week. Razor I'm using right now is a new Dovo Black "Bismarck" 6/8 razor.
I have two I'm restoring right now but the one that's my main pet project since it's my first ever restore is a Rud. Frauenzimmer which I'm guestimating the date is 1930's - 1940's. Given it's head is rounded and an XII Hollowness. As I mentioned before I will have pics up soon. I just need to finish up the scales I am making for it, for this one I decided to use Curly Ash since I have an abundance of it.
The second one I will be working on will be a bit easier since the blade itself is all that needs restoration, the scales are in great shape just need a bit of cleaning is all and they are fantastic. The Razor was made by Fox Cutlery Co. in 1884 has a square tip and VI hollowness and except for a bit of rust is in excellent shape so once the blade is restored, rehoned, and the scales cleaned up it'll be a very beautiful razor. I can't wait to post some pics of both but I want to get all the work done first so I can show the before and after pics. I will try to have them up though this week.
Wishing the best!
