Ah, just to say that I have just received my last shoping on classicshaving: ST Bay rum, Dominica Bay Rum, A prorasso cream , styptic, and a couple of classic brand soaps.

odd. one of the reasons i'm getting in to SR shaving is to simplify and slow down my life. getting anything besides the necessary accessories is not a thought that has crossed my mind.
*shrug* i guess that's just me...

Just to follow up, I went home yesterday and called SRD and spoke to Don.

He was very helpful and informative (thanks Don!) And after about 5 seconds thought I ordered the 325 DMT, a 1k shapton plus the 4k/8k/16k shapton set and some .25 diamond paste to put on the denim strop I'm making.

Massive HAD last night folks...! Hehe!

I'll stick some pics up of the strop and the razor I'm restoring when they're done!

The way I cope is put a limit on it. I said 7 razors, no more no less. So I keep buying, but if I don't like something, I sell of the razor in the 7th position.
