Thread: Hello all

I've been trolling SRP for a couple of weeks soaking up info and then registered and forgot to formally intoduce myself.

My name is Dean and i have always been interested in using a SR for shaving so i started to look on ebay for a SR,after looking at all the offering i knew i was out of my league and that i should do some research before bidding on something i have no knowledge of, i googled straight razors and found this site..and i'm soooo happy i did, I have gained some knowledge and have felt comfortable coming here and getting involved in some posts.
I also remembered that i had an old DE razor and recently started to use it while i look for a SR in the classifieds here,I now feel way more secure buying here than on ebay with my limited knowledge and experience in the DE and SR world,thank you all for the advice and sharing of experiences.

Welcome to SRP! You made the right move and the perfect straight will come along. I've seen some really nice straights in the BST area for around $40.
