    Default WOW... what a shaver!!!

Ok... so I wasn't sure whether to post this in the Shaving, Razors, or Newbies Corner, but since I'm such a huge newb, I figure I can't lose here.

Anyway, today I just got my Clauss 5/8 razor from L&D Razors. It came in the mail this afternoon and within 10 minutes I was wiping off the oil and prepping my face.

This is only my second razor ever to own, and my first vintage. All I can say is, "WOW" this thing is awesome. The hairs tried to hide, but failed miserably. Super sharp and cool looking (I think). Three passes and my best shave ever. My only regret is that I only have one of these.

To Don, I'm not sure what this razor looked like before you guys went to work on it, but it's a beaut now... great job and thanks for the quick shipping! If you ever sell another one of these, I want it... lol

To Lynn, WOW, you can put an edge on a razor, this thing is great. Great job, and thanks again.

Here is the link to the razor:

    Best,
    Jeff

That's great isn't it! The drawback is that nice vintage razors get addictive very quickly....

Great that you ended up with a good razor to get started with. My first attempts were with a razor that wasn't shave ready, and I suffered for it. Best advice for anyone is to get one from someone that really knows what they are doing.

A good razor, well honed, is 90% of the battle.

Beautiful razor. Enjoy every moment. Unfortunately most of us can only shave once a day

The problem is you try a bunch out, figure out what you like, and then impulse buy everything that you like that you can afford (see my sig lol). This is called RAD. Welcome to our support group.
