    The reason why I thought I had a bent pin is exactly what glen is mentioning. At the pivot hole one scale is higher than the other one.

    It may very well be a bent pin. OTOH, I have more than one brand spanky new TI that came with the scales uneven at the top. Matter of fact on another forum in the review section there are others who complain about the sloppy TI workmanship over the same issue.

    So it may very well be a bent pin but it may also be a case of a razor made at quiting time on Friday .... or worse,,, first thing Monday morning. If it is a vintage razor it is probably a bent pin. Back in the old days I think the quality control was better.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
