Default Stropping in between 1st and 2nd pass?

Hey all, I've just recently started shaving with a SR and i'm so lucky i came across this website and belive me, it's helped me so much, so keep up the good work! Just wondering, is it okay to strop in between the 1st and 2nd pass or could it damage the razor? If anyone could help i would appreciate it!

I personally don't strop between passes, but have read about plenty of people who do, so I don't think it would hurt your razor doing it, other wise nobody would. I would make sure your razor is cleaned and dried very well before stropping in the middle of the shave.

    Default stropping

normally it shouldnt make alot differences while you strop between passes.what happens sometimes razor edgegets so thin while you make your first pass it bends.after first pass you strop again and edge straighns out.you blade shaves great again.this type edge shouldnt last longer.properly honed blade will shave whole fase without middle stropping..but some people loves to strop they strop before shave in the middle and after shave.Gl

It won't do any harm, unless you slip on a wet tang & cut the strop in half!
Some do it, but i never feel the need & if i did, i think it wouldn't be long before i decided the whole process was becoming a pain.

Check the edge for whiskers first, if I need to do it I always use the linen first, two laps for cleaning.

i do not think it would hurt. i strop before and after each shave. i use linen about 10-15 laps and then on the leather about 15 laps. i always seem to have a great edge. so a little more stropping should not hurt, say 10-15 laps.
i have seen where some members strop 30 to 40 times, if you did like me plus added the 10 or so in between, it would just about be the same
