Thread: Shave stick

I just rscived some shave soap in tubs and two shave sticks. How is the best way to use the shave stick with a brush? I plan on useing it on a trip the moddle of next month and find it hard to apply to the brush form the stick.

Wet your face, rub your stick on your face, rub your pre-soaked brush on your face. You can mill the shave sticks if you prefer, that's what I do with the palmolive sticks.

Yep, danny nailed it. Use the stick to put a nice thin layer of soap on your beard, then use your brush to whip up a lather. You can also rub the stick into your brush to kind of "prime" it. Use a tad less water at first so you don't have water pouring down your chin when you start lathering.

I actually found it easier to get a good lather from a stick than a regular puck at first, it makes it easier to judge how much soap you're loading.
