After shaving i rinse my blade in hot water, wipe it dry and leave it open all day while im at work. When i get home from work i put a very light coating of baby oil on it, close it up and but it in its box (if i have one). Then i pull my razor out i plan on using the next day, and start the process all over again.
I also do 15 passes on linen/latigo right after wiping the blade off.

Interesting question, since my wife just handed me an odd item... A "flower frog" she called it. So, for now, for $3.50 I'm putting my razors in a device made to hold flowers, and submerged in water.
Before putting them there, after a shave... clean and dry and coat with mineral oil.

Thanked: 1I have a shelf in my closet that I leave my razors on. I clean and dry them after use, then leave them open overnight to dry. close them up in the am and repeat with the next one.

I store them in the very nice box GibII made me.
That is... after a light stropping on linen and then the leather.

Thanked: 8I dry mine with toilet paper and apply a coating of silicone spray and store them in a drawer. Easy, practical and safe.

This is good to know. I just got a nice piece of wood I finished with teak oil. I plan on making a version of the 7 day razor rack with a brush holder on it.
