Thanked: 0Noob checks in
Just checking in. I guess I've been straight-razor shaving for a few months now. Not cutting myself as much, not getting razor burn, not getting perfect shaves, but not giving up either.
I look forward to learning a lot from the experience here.
James.

Sounds like a good start. The perfect BBS will come with time. Just be patient, and keep at it.

Welcome!
Like Deryan said any questions feel free to ask. Our members are very helpful and knowledgeable and not just about razors.
Can we know your gear(razor, soap, brush) and shave routine(shower, stropping, passes) we might be able to make some suggestions.

Welcome to SRP James! Don't forget to browse through the Straight Razor Place Wiki . It has some great straight razor info and help. The road to being an 'expert' in straight razor shaving is practice. Keep at it and you will be there before you know it. You will also find, as with most things in life, the learning will never end.
