So new, I don't even have a razor yet
It's true. But I have at least one razor and one strop on the way for sure. I will be sure to keep everyone posted as things work themselves out. I'm an experienced DE shaver, so hopefully I won't cut my head off. But at least I'm used to a few cuts if I do try.

You will be fine with the straight, just remember,
beard prep,

stretch the skin.

Haha, I do believe I have put it off long enough. I actually (think) I am getting a 5/8 wedge (correct me if I'm wrong here) from Lee. And I should have a 5/8 Jim Slick restored by Ambrose of B&B coming sometime soon. And I think also an 11/16 Red Point straight razor from Olafurson at TSD. I think.
