Thread: Strop advice for a newbie

Thanked: 198i am a newbie also, and as for my strop, i was able to stop at a local saddle maker/repairperson, and pick up a piece of scrap leather that was as wide as i wanted for about 5 bucks, my thinking was, it will work, and if i tear it up, im only out a small amount of money, and so on and so on
