Thanked: 402Schimms thats nice! Do you want to use it?
Maybe it needs just a bit restoration and honing.
Post a picture, so we can see what you have.Last edited by 0livia; 09-24-2009 at 12:37 AM.

Were you trying to sell it? We are not a marketplace, ebay is a much better option. You do not qualify to sell on the classifieds, so it will be a waste of your time to post it there.
Take a look at the straight razor article in the wiki - it explains basic things like grind and size of a razor.Last edited by gugi; 09-24-2009 at 02:54 AM.

Hi Schimms15, welcome to SRP! To measure the width of a razor you just use a ruler, measuring from the spine to the edge. The width of razors are usually measured in 1/8" increments if it falls within an 1/8" range, like 5/8" and 6/8." Sometimes you'll see a blade referred to in 1/16" increments like, 11/16."
The diagram on this page might help:

Determining exactly what grind you razor is, is a little more tricky, at least for me.
Here's a couple links that will explain it better than I can.
See the grind section here:
Form:Straight Razor Database Submission Form - Straight Razor Place Wiki
And here is a bit of an explanation of razor grinds:

As Olivia mentioned posting a picture would be good. It makes it easier for people to help you.

Not enough information yet. First, what is the brand name of the razor? Is it new or used? How much money do they want? You should check this link on Razors To Avoid in the Wiki. That may very quickly give you an answer of "No". (It wouldn't hurt if you also read through the rest of the FAQ and the parts of the Wiki written for new straight shavers, as well.)
