According to the person selling them they are good shavers.

Bartmann is a good brand IME. If I am interpreting the photos correctly and the razors are hollow ground on one side only they are microtomes and are meant for slicing tissue samples. Not for shaving. They are not Japanese style razors unless I'm badly mistaken.
If you find something on that website that is hollow ground on both sides you can be sure it is a quality product. I have dealt with John and he sells first class razors and does a great job honing them if you pay for the pro honing.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 21I just saw a micro tissue shaver on craigslist going pretty cheap. Some people have a pretty rough time getting them shave ready from what I've read in the past

+1 on everything Jimmy said. John is a good person to work with. He will get back to you.
