Default 29yo and I finally got my first shave!

Hello everyone my name is Derick and I have been using Gillette products since high school. I always thought that the slight stubble the mach3, 5 or whatever they have now was the norm. I use to get bad razor burn, so much so that I have to shave at night so the redness and bumps would be gone by the morning. Thank God for SRP!

It took about 2 months of reading on this forum and research to decide on my razor and pretty much if I had the “testicular fortitude” to shave with something that could very well end my life with one bad slip . So I got my razor from RupRazor.com (the man has great products for the price) about 2 weeks ago. I also made a stop into an Art of Shaving store in San Antonio when I was in town too. It has been 2 weeks and today was my first shave WTG AND XTG. I have never had a shave this close and no irritation anywhere on my neck/face! I truly consider this my first REAL shave ever and I want to thank everyone here who posts with tips and information on the best way to go. Now the only problem is I know I am hooked and I’m getting the itch to maybe get a few more razors, my fiancé is going to kill me .

Congratulations! And welcome to the forums.

When the fiancé complains about the SR's, just point to her shoes and handbags!

Yeah I wish I could have a closet full of SR’s like she has one for her shoes.

Welcome to SRP! The shaves will only get better and easier as your experience improves. As for a second, third, and however many razors you acquire, just tell her you need back-ups in case something happens. I guess I am lucky, my wife does not have a problem with my collection of razors and assorted paraphernalia, which at this moment is still rather small compared to others here.
