    Default Newb saying hello!

    Hi, I'm "dmpljim" and brand new to straight razor shaving. I just bought a new Dovo Shavette which I just started using to learn the proper 'angle of the dangle, a new Dovo Black Star 5/8 with red Pakawood scales, a well made Soligen 5/8 razor to practice honing/sharpening with which looks like N.O.S., a 2 in 1 hone which looks to be maybe a 4000/8000 brown/white, and a Badger brush with a mug and some decent soap which I like. I also just ordered Lynn's DVD and have seen a few bites on YOUTUBE to get me started.
