Thanked: 259where to buy maas
anyone know a good place to buy maas creme? i found it on ebay, but with s/h it comes to about $8 for 2oz. seems a little high, and is it really that much better than mothers polish or weiman's metal polish? i have checked at the local walmart, lowes, home depot, and several other places with no luck

Thanked: 199I couldn't find it locally near me, so I ordered a 4oz tube off amazon when I ordered something else and got free shipping on the Maas, so it worked out great.
Other than that, I would call Maas (630-654-4743) and ask them if they might know a place near you that you could buy it.
Check Ace Hardware and True Value places for sure. Call em so you don't have to do the driving.
GL!

Knoxville only seems to have it at Ace Hardware. About 5 bucks.

The Walmart thing is killing me. I checked three Walmarts in my local area (south of Denver) in the cleaning section, automotive, housewares, all over. I checked at Lowes and Home Depot as well. No Maas.
I even checked my Walgreens because I found it listed as a dealer online. That may have been a wild goose chase though.
I finally bought it at Ace Hardware pretty far away from my house as I happened across one on my way to The Brass Armadillo north of Denver.
Since this seemingly local shortage of Mass it's become a minor obsession of mine to check everywhere I go that might have it. My list has grown since I've been traveling lately.
I have failed to find it at the above plus these newly added locations:
2 Walmarts in Sioux Falls, SD
1 Walmart in Jackson, MI
1 Meijer in Jackson, MI
1 Menards in Jackson, MI
I didn't bother checking the Walgreens anywhere other than at home. I skipped the Walmart in Rapid City, SD when I was there but maybe on my way back through I'll check it.
I feel like I'm blind and never looking in the right spot with this many Walmart failures. I thought it was a lack of local supply issue at first but now I'm not sure what it is since I've checked way out of my local area.
Like I said it's become a minor obsession to find retailers with Maas; like playing "Where's Waldo?" and isn't really necessary since I can just get it at Ace. I have what I need. I just feel the need to keep looking.
