Thread: BLADE PRESERVATIVE/STORAGE

i would like to thank whoever it was on here that first told me about this and i wanted to pass it on again to all the new guys. if you are going to store your razor or if moisture can get to it, this works great. i got a little 3oz plastic bottle at the cosmetics at walmart, it has the flip top and i mixed in about 3/4 oz mineral oil and the rest with rubbing alcohol and mixed it well. this you wipe onto the blade and when the alcohol evaporates it will leave behind a nice thin layer of oil. i had used mineral oil and camellia oil straight and i thought it was a little thick and messy. this works great...thanks again to the member that told me about this
