there are lots of razors out there that say made in germany or solingen most are good razors but there are a few out there that have the solingen or germany printed on the tang, watch these carefully as they may be fakes. if the made in germany or solingen is stamped into the tang it is generally a real one. i have several made in germany that i have gotten off ebay and they honed up great. just don't get carried away with the auction fever when buying on ebay. the classifieds here is another great way to acquire a nice blade. members here are an honest bunch.

+1 on the classifieds here for razors and such. A set from SRD will do a good job for you. Learn all you can from the forums and the WIKI here spend time watching some auctions and take a stroll through a few Antique shops. Don't just buy but look for razors and their conditions. Soon you'll start seeing razors calling for a new life that can be restored and they usually will treat you right. Welcome to SRP and good luck.
