Nice rack!
However, how is it attached to the wall? I don't see any screws through it and if my spying little eye sees correctly, you're using a screw on a string (behind the bare blade) to hold it in place. Sorry to rain on your parade, but I think that's a forecast for whirlwind of spinning steel with a 20% chance of very regrettable accidents. Even bolted down, there's still going to be people going past it with elbows flying. Otherwise, it's a nice looking rack and would look great on the desktop.

Thanked: 1Thanks
Thanks for all positive feedback. I should have thought of the safety issues and general miss-haps. I do have small children at home. I'll put on thinking cap and come up with a fix. I could start over, that could be fun or a good reason to spend some time in the garage. Oh sorry to miss lead some of you on the thread title. Thanks again

Go back and look at the rack and picture it sitting inside a nice little cabinet of it's own with a small glass window on the door. Use the same kind of wood and finish. Put a kid proof latch on the door. It's obvious you have some woodworking skills, looks good.
Lots of possiblities.

Welcome to SRP. I like the rack, looks like you'll fit right in. If you become like most of us you'll need 2 or 3 more just like it.

Nice work, very presentable. Look forward to seeing the upgraded model too.
As a newbie too, welcome us!
