Thanked: 0Thanks for all the help. I just ordered a bager brush.
And with my other order, a strop came with. So I'll just stick with that one for now. I'll just keep it until I ruin it, then just buy another one when the time comes.
And I did read the noobs guide to getting a good razor. But the full hollow still seemed like the best cheap razor in the classifieds.
What an all day event this turned out to be. lol. I think everything is ordered though finally.
Maybe I wont be buying that second razor. It wont take my debit card for some reason. I have like $500 on my account. It's a $50 razor. Hmmmmm.....
Wont take my credit card either. Is there something special you need to do to order here?Last edited by Steak; 10-31-2009 at 08:02 PM.

Most people on the classifieds only take paypal.
If you don't have an account you can go to where is says "contact seller" on the bottom right and send a PM asking if you can send them a check or money order.

Thanked: 0Yeah, this is the first time I've ever needed to use paypal. I'll figure this all out later. Hopefully nobody else buys the Razor, lol. I have to go to work.

If you ever plan to buy cheap razors on e-bay int the future you will need a paypal account as well. If you have trouble make a new thread in "the conversation" area of the forum asking how to make an account and we will be more than happy to help out.
Have a good day at work, welcome to the exciting world of wetshaving and

I think I have the paypal thing figured out. The order appears to have went through.
Can't wait to get the razor. I hate shaving with what I have now so much. I never get a good shave and my skin is always irritated, red, and cut up.

Remember that you first couple shaves will most likely be lackluster. Years of using a cartridge will make using a str8t razors movements seem foreign. Give yourself at least a month before expecting a good shave and expect most your shave to take around 30 minutes to complete till you get over the initial fear and become more comftorable with the blade.
once you get the hang of it though you'll wonder why it took you so long to start ^_^

How should I sterilize my blade? I mean, if I'm going to potentially draw blood with it, I want to make sure it's clean, so that I do not get infected from the blade.
And why do they call it Wet Shaving? Isn't the other way wet as well?Last edited by Steak; 11-01-2009 at 05:26 AM.

Holy cow someone actually read the instructions!
If you got that one from Gugi he is a pro and will sterilize it before he sends it out.
If however your OCD like some of us you can use rubbing alcohol this is also good for drying the blade as it displaces water.
If you want to go hardcore you can buy barbicide at any beauty supply place and give it a dunk for a few minutes.

Again, thanks everyone for their recommendations/help.
I've spent so much money this weekend. Pretty much a months worth of salary on razors and a pair of shoes. Hopefully it's worth it, lol. So earlier when you said money isn't an problem, well, to normal people it might of been. But I see no problem in spending a months salary in pursuit of a perfect shave. Life's little pleasures are the most important to me. (I'm going to college and only work part time, so that's why I make so little, lol)Last edited by Steak; 11-01-2009 at 05:32 AM.
