    Default Improved/Corrected my technique easily

    Hi Everyone

I am in Sydney and over the weekend I met up with Oz from Oz. We had a good talk and he really helped me out. Tonight I put some of his excellent advice to use and it is brilliant. Here is what i did tonight.

I changed the way I hold the razor. I was previously holding the razor like I hold a knife when I am cutting my food on my plate. Tonight I put my thumb behind the heel and held the razor spine with my pointer finger and my middle finger. I did it really lightly. I wrapped my little finger around the tang and just held the razor really lightly. Pretty much common sense hugh!!! And anyway its so much more beautiful to shave like this. In fact I even did a dog decent job around my side burns. In the past after I finished with my side burns I was so embarressed I did not want to leave the house...plus i would just slice the hell out of my face, it was like a blood bath.

Hold the razor between these first three fingers lightly when shaving and with control.

Anyway see what you guys reckon.

Congratulations! Sounds like you made a nice step forward, with some good help from a friend. It can't get much better than that.
