Thread: first AM shave update...changes/updates

Well - I think I'm beginning to shed some of my "newbie" status as far as the shaving goes....I shaved the right part of my face last nite (normal pattern for the second day now) and I attempted (succesfully I'd like to add) to shave (with shavette) the left side of my face this morning so this is my first AM shave update and the left side of my face is indeed BBS this morning and the right side...not so much in comparision...so I suppose I'm there that Im gonna be SR shaving in the mornings now...I will take an approach that there is always time for a SR shave...much like many say that there is always time for tea. I'd also like to report that I had very few nicks last nite...nothing that didnt dry up after cleaning my face and actually zero nicks this morning....Im still pretty suprised about that....oh by the way this whole SR journey I have now joined has apparently changed my wardrobe as well...seems Im wearing my real (tie yourself) bowties to work again....and yes I even have a pair of suspenders on today....talk about classy and virtually a complete overhaul and upgrade....thanks alot guys for all the encouragement...us newbies certainly need it...bottoms up yall

Glad to hear you have tackled the morning shave. I myself am a morning shaver. I just feel scruffy if I do it at night, no matter how smooth I get. There is in fact always time for a shave. All I did was set my alarm about 15 minutes earlier, and bam, plenty of time for using a straight instead of a DE and a little extra for just relaxing.

Way to go jcash! There's nothing like a good shave in the morning to get your day going on the right foot! SRP is made up of all of us in a quest for the perfect shave, and that common thread gives us something to share and also to be proud of when someone new is succesful! Just remmember to pass it on to other newbies and even the more experienced shavers. Your input is always valued!
